GOAT India Tour: Legendary Argentinian footballer Lionel Messi has reached Hyderabad for the second leg of the ongoing GOAT India tour on Saturday, following a chaotic start to the highly-awaited event in Kolkata. The event in Hyderabad will start with an exhibition match at 7.50 p.m. IST. After that, A Revnath Reddy, who is the Chief Minister of Telangana, along with Rahul Gandhi, will be entering the ground, and after that, Messi and his Inter Miami teammates Rodrigo De Paul and Luis Suarez will enter.
About 50,000 fans who had paid between Rs 4,000 and Rs 12,000, and some also paid Rs 20,000 on the black market, were left disappointed as a group of politicians, along with VVIPs and security personnel, were seen clicking selfies with Messi instead of controlling the crowd around Messi, and left the fans in Kolkata angry. The fans then started creating chaos by throwing bottles, which are otherwise banned at this venue. What left everyone surprised was how they were allowed to enter with these items, which also had food items. The fans then broke the chairs and threw them away.
