Adobe Adds Firefly AI In Premiere Pro And After Effects: Soon we will witness the Sundance Film Festival, and Adobe is also getting ready to up its game for creative software. Adobe has announced some major upgrades for Premiere Pro and After Effects powered by its Firefly AI. These updates make several improvements and simplify the post-production workflows, reduce app switching, and give creators faster access to advanced AI tools. 

As video production is becoming more demanding across the social media and commercial platforms, Adobe has decided to cater to professionals who want speed without giving up on precision. The update 26.0 started rolling out this week and has highlighted Adobe’s now greater focus on collaborative creation, 3D animation, intelligent automation, etc. 85% of the Sundance entrants this year used Creative Cloud, reinforcing its dominance in the filmmaking ecosystem, as per Adobe.

Adobe Firefly AI on Premiere Pro

Adobe Firefly and Adobe Premiere Pro are now integrated, giving users access to multiple AI providers inside the software, including:

- Google

- OpenAI

- Runway

This means that users will no longer have to leave the app for video, audio, motion, imaging, and design creation. This will lead to faster workflows and fewer interruptions during the post-production.

Masking and Object Selection

Adobe has improved several core editing tools:

- More intuitive Object Selection and Mask tracking

- Redesigned Ellipse, Rectangle, and Pen mask tools

- Faster tracking of complex subjects

- Greater creative precision for detailed edits

These improvements focus on minimising the manual adjustments and, alongside, improving the accuracy.

Firefly Boards and Adobe Stock Integration

Firefly boards and Adobe Stock integration will enable:

- AI-assisted visual planning

- Collaborative project ideation

- Seamless asset sharing between planning and execution

So over 52 Million clips can be accessed directly in Premiere Pro from Adobe stock without leaving the software.
