The new mode has been developed in partnership with Aeos Group and uses a mix of structured psychometric tools and gameplay data to generate a Career Mode report. This report highlights skills such as:
- Problem-solving
- Adaptability
- Teamwork
- Decision-making under pressure
- Leadership
These attributes are grouped into three categories:
- Core skills
- Adaptive skills
- Additional attributes
How the Career Mode Works
BGMI Career Mode combines two types of inputs:
1. Psychometric layer
Players complete a guided assessment that captures behavioural preferences, personality indicators, and work-style tendencies.
2. Gameplay layer
In-game behaviour is analysed to understand patterns in strategic thinking, composure under pressure, teamwork, adaptability, and attention to detail.
Krafton says that a major focus of the new mode is on personality reflection, such as better understanding of their strengths, personality traits, and growth areas.
What Krafton’s Srinjay Das Says about the feature?
The Tribune reported that Srinjay Das, associate director of product and marketing at Krafton India, said, “Gaming today is an important part of youth culture, and it’s also a space where real behaviours and skills naturally emerge.”

He added that Career Mode is a “humble and exploratory” effort to convert “those moments of play” into a “structured, credible reflection” to help players better understand their cognitive strengths, soft skills, and growth areas.
“It reflects our belief that young people deserve accessible tools that acknowledge learning wherever it happens – not just in classrooms or formal settings,” he said.
With the launch of BGMI Career Mode, Krafton India is trying to bridge gaming and career development in a practical way. By combining psychometric assessments with gameplay behaviour, the new mode offers players structured insights into their skills and personality traits. This will help the companies to assess candidates’ behaviour as well as candidates to improve their skills.
