MYMANU showcased the world’s first 4G-connected wireless earbuds at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023. The Mymanu Titan earbuds boast live translation in over 37 languages and voice controls. Is this enough to substitute your smartphone, time will test.
In a Newsroom post, the company asserted, the earbuds will make phones ‘obsolete’ with this innovation. An active eSIM will enable users to make and receive calls and SMS without the assistance of a smartphone. The Titan earbuds can connect to the internet via cellular data.
For translation, it needs to pair with the MyJuno app and controlled via voice. Chris Smith, Senior Writer, BGR stated, the voice data will stay within the earbud and not download to servers because of the in-device processing. Plus, the earbuds come with enterprise-grade security, to avoid message and data interception by third parties.
“There are many situations where you either don’t want to carry your phone around or that it’s just not suitable to have with you but you still want to be connected. Titan solves that problem,” said Danny Manu, CEO and founder of Mymanu in a 2022 Newsroom post.
Mymanu advertises a ‘screen-free world’ to stay connected. The earbuds can access contacts, streams and music for the user through voice-activated technology. It comes with high-quality sound for diverse listening scenarios. Further, it comes with water resistance and can face high celsius, according to the brand.
The company had demonstrated the final version of the earbuds at CES 2023, it shared in a tweet dated January 8, 2023. BBC described it as “the first screenless mobile phone,” according to the tweet.
The product page of Titan is silent on features like noise cancellation, which may prove a letdown for an earphone of this price bracket. Lastly, will it replace our brain reminders of checking for a smartphone in our pocket, in very limited cases, it might. For instance in fitness or activities that do not involve primary screen interactions.
Mymanu Titan Earbuds Price
