Amazon Great Indian Festival 2026 is coming to India on October 8, and Amazon has started revealing what shoppers can expect from its biggest festive sale of the year. The event will cover everything from smartphones and electronics to fashion, beauty products, home essentials and groceries.
The detailed discounts on individual products are still under wraps, but Amazon has already announced several offers that will be available during the sale. These include an instant discount for SBI cardholders, extra savings for Prime members, exchange deals and No Cost EMI options.

The Great Indian Festival 2026 will officially begin on October 8, Amazon confirmed in a blog post. The company is yet to share the complete product-wise deal list, so shoppers will have to wait a little longer to see the actual prices on smartphones, laptops, TVs and other popular products.
For now, Amazon has confirmed a 10 percent instant discount for customers using eligible SBI Debit and Credit Cards. The offer will also be available on eligible Credit Card EMI transactions. Prime members will have an additional advantage, with Amazon promising up to 10 percent extra savings during the sale.
The sale will also have different deal sections aimed at shoppers looking for limited-time offers. These include 8 PM Deals, Blockbuster Deals, Top 100 Deals and Mega Deals. Amazon is also bringing Blockbuster Deals with Exchange, where customers can combine product discounts with eligible exchange offers.
There will be plenty of other ways to save as well. Amazon's announced offers include Buy More Save More, Exchange Mela, Sample Mania and Amazon Combos. The platform will also have Amazon Coupons, Freebie Central and a selection of products under Customers' Most Loved.
For shoppers planning to upgrade their devices or other electronics, Amazon will offer No Cost EMI and exchange options across categories. An upgrade offer with No Cost EMI will start at Rs. 99 per day. The exact products covered by these offers, along with their terms and conditions, are expected to be announced closer to the sale.
Amazon Is Expanding Its Delivery Network
The festive sale is also bringing a major expansion of Amazon's delivery infrastructure in India. The company plans to open 20 new fulfilment centres, six new sort centres and 150 new last-mile delivery stations ahead of the shopping season.
Amazon says this will be its biggest-ever operations network expansion in India. The additional infrastructure is expected to help the company handle the surge in orders that usually comes with the festive shopping period.

Amazon Now, the company's quick-commerce service, is also getting a wider rollout. It currently serves millions of customers across more than 60 cities, including markets in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.
