At InfoComm India 2026, the company showcased a mix of products aimed at different points in the workplace, from a 55-inch interactive screen for executive cabins to a 135-inch dvLED display for large audiences. It also used the event to preview two desk lighting products in India.

The company's biggest focus was the BenQ Board CP5505. Rather than positioning the 55-inch screen as another conference-room display, BenQ is looking at smaller spaces where employees often end up using laptops for meetings simply because larger rooms are unavailable.

The 55-Inch Display That Wants to Replace the Laptop Around the Meeting

The CP5505 brings the tools needed for a hybrid meeting onto one screen. People can join video calls, work with content and access files and applications from the display.

It can also follow the person speaking in the room. That becomes useful when a meeting involves people sitting both inside and outside the office, as participants do not have to remain fixed in front of a laptop camera.

BenQ has added a few features for what happens during and after the conversation as well. Presentations can be controlled from the screen, Google Assistant can be activated, and its AI features can generate a meeting summary and transcript.

The company is also pitching the display for professional work that relies heavily on visual information. Its colour performance is designed to support Pantone checking, while the display's contrast is suited to detailed documents and diagrams. BenQ points to legal, design and clinical work as some possible applications.

The thinking behind the product is partly about freeing up larger meeting rooms.

Rajeev Singh, Managing Director, BenQ India and South Asia, said, “If you walk into any office today, you’ll most definitely find two or three people crowded around a laptop for a call that should have taken a proper room, because the proper rooms are all booked. That’s not a technology gap, it’s a real estate problem we’ve been solving with the wrong tool. The CP5505 puts a genuine hybrid meeting setup directly into the CXO’s own cabin, so the boardroom stays free for what actually needs it. That’s the idea we wanted to lead with this year at InfoComm with our entire enterprise lineup.”

In other words, BenQ is trying to move some of the smaller meetings away from the boardroom altogether. The CXO cabin becomes another place where a proper hybrid meeting can happen instead of relying on a laptop and a crowded desk.

When the Screen Needs to Be 135 Inches

BenQ's other major display at the event goes in the opposite direction.

The company showed a 135-inch dvLED display aimed at spaces where a small meeting-room screen would not be practical. Town halls, leadership presentations and other large gatherings are among the scenarios it is targeting.

The display covers 100% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. That gives BenQ a large-format option for presentations where colour reproduction and visibility are important.

So, while the CP5505 is about making a smaller meeting easier to manage, the 135-inch display is about putting the same content in front of a much larger group.

BenQ Is Also Lighting Up the Workstation

There was another part of the showcase that had little to do with meeting rooms.

BenQ previewed its iScreenBar™ and ScreenBar® Max lighting products in India. The two are aimed at different desk setups.

The iScreenBar™ is made for iMac users and uses BenQ's ASYM-Light™ optical structure. It provides light across the desk while limiting reflections on the iMac display. The product has also been shaped specifically around the iMac's slim all-in-one design.

The ScreenBar® Max is intended for people working with two monitors. Its ASYM-TriZone Light™ system is designed to distribute light across horizontal, vertical and curved multi-screen arrangements.

That takes BenQ's workplace pitch beyond the meeting space. Instead of only addressing what happens when teams get together, the company is also looking at the setup employees use when they work individually.

One Workplace, Different Display Needs

There is a clear split between the products BenQ brought to InfoComm India this year.

The CP5505 deals with smaller hybrid meetings, the 135-inch dvLED handles large presentations, while the two lighting products focus on the individual workstation.

All of them fall under BenQ's broader “AI for the Future Workspace” initiative. The company is also continuing to work with its partners, AV consultants and system integrators in India.

Rather than offering one display for every situation, BenQ's latest enterprise portfolio covers several of them, from an executive taking a hybrid call in a cabin to dozens of employees watching a presentation and an individual working across multiple screens at a desk.
