Rockstar Games is giving players another reason to tune in when Grand Theft Auto 6 arrives next month. The studio has revealed six radio stations from the upcoming game, spanning genres from country and Latin music to metal and hip-hop. It has also confirmed a new feature that lets players listen to music and podcasts while exploring the game's world on foot, rather than being limited to car journeys.
The six stations offer a mix of musical styles. Cocoteo FM will focus on Latin music, while Back Country Radio is dedicated to country tracks. AfroBank FM will feature African music, The Chamber 106.6 will cater to metal fans, Flash FM will play pop, and Dirty South Classics will bring hip-hop to the lineup.

Rockstar has also begun revealing the real-world talent associated with the game's radio programming. Bad Bunny, Lana Del Rey and Morgan Wallen are among the artists confirmed so far as station hosts. Those wanting a preview before launch can hear clips from all six stations through the music section of the official GTA 6 website.
GTA 6 Lets Players Listen to Music and Podcasts on Foot
Radio has long been part of the Grand Theft Auto experience, but GTA 6 is expanding how players can enjoy it. Both protagonists of the game will also have their earphones or headphones connected to their mobile phones. This will let players listen to radio stations while walking around Vice City and Leonida.
The feature goes beyond music, too. For the first time in the series, players will be able to listen to on-demand podcasts while exploring outside their vehicles. Rockstar has yet to share further details about the podcast selection, but the addition means the game's audio experience will no longer be tied to driving around the map.
Celebrity voices are hardly new to Grand Theft Auto. GTA 5 featured actor and musician Cara Delevingne as the host of Non-Stop-Pop FM. The game also brought in Frank Ocean and actor Danny McBride for its radio programming, continuing Rockstar's tradition of mixing fictional stations with familiar names from the entertainment world.
GTA 6 Soundtrack Album Gets 34 Original Tracks
Rockstar first revealed the original GTA 6 soundtrack album first which contained 34 tunes, and then followed the radio announcement. Travis Scott, Morgan Wallen and other artists are part of the release, with six debut singles already available on music streaming platforms, including Apple Music and Spotify.
The complete soundtrack album is scheduled to arrive on November 19, the same day Grand Theft Auto 6 launches. Players who prefer physical music collections will also be able to buy the album on CD and vinyl. Pre-orders are available through the Rockstar Store and the websites of participating retailers.
