Nvidia is gearing up to make its largest investment in OpenAI to date, CEO Jensen Huang has said. In Taipei, Huang brushed aside reports that he was unsatisfied with the ChatGPT maker and said Nvidia’s support for OpenAI will continue to be strong. The announcement comes after past rumours that a previously announced plan to inject as much as $100 billion in financing had stalled. The fact Nvidia is again putting its public name behind OpenAI suggests a continued belief in OpenAI's role in the future of AI, and Nvidia’s status as an important supplier of high-end AI silicon.
