Oppo is bringing something special for K-pop fans in India. The company has announced that it will soon launch the Oppo Reno 16 Series x Baby Monster Edition in the country, created in collaboration with the popular South Korean music group.
The announcement comes soon after the launch of the regular Oppo Reno 16 and Reno 16c models in India. While both smartphones are already available for purchase through online and offline stores, Oppo is now preparing to introduce a limited edition version with a Baby Monster theme.

The company confirmed the collaboration through a post on X, but it has not revealed the exact launch date yet. However, dedicated microsites for the special edition have already appeared on Amazon and Flipkart, suggesting that the phone will be available through both platforms after launch.
Unlike some special edition smartphones that come with a different design or upgraded hardware, the Reno 16 Baby Monster Edition will mainly focus on the overall fan experience. According to the details listed on the Amazon microsite, the smartphone will come in a specially designed retail box that includes a themed protective case, cards featuring members of Baby Monster and other exclusive accessories.
The smartphone itself will remain unchanged. Oppo has confirmed that the special edition will carry the same design and specifications as the standard Reno 16, meaning buyers will get the same display, processor, cameras and battery performance.
For those unfamiliar with the regular model, the Oppo Reno 16 was launched in India on July 2 at a starting price of ₹61,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage version is priced at ₹67,999.
The smartphone features a 6.32-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,216 x 2,640 pixel resolution and up to 3,500 nits peak brightness. The device is driven by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, along with up to 12GB LPDDR5x RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.

Coming to the cameras, the Reno 16 has three rear cameras, consisting of a 50-megapixel main camera, 50-megapixel ultrawide lens and 50-megapixel telephoto lens. There is a 6,700mAh battery and 80W wired fast charging supported on the device.
There has been no pricing or availability information disclosed by Oppo regarding the Baby Monster Edition. More details should come out around the launch date.
