Phillips launched its OneChef kitchen appliance on March 19, 2026, and this is an all-in-one setup for most of your kitchen cooking needs and aims to deliver and stand by its name, which is OneChef. This appliance can help you cook multitudes of products that we were able to witness firsthand in its showcase, the 'Chef's Tasting Table', bringing together various regional flavours from curries to steamed items and even taking it one step further with gourmet and even some Indian dishes that usually require some special equipment or preparation, like Dhoklas; this equipment is like a one-stop solution for all.

Specs And features
Before we get into how it performs, let's take a look at the tech behind it that powers all this, from air-frying, stir-frying, steaming, and boiling to baking, roasting and everything else. First up is its AmbiHeat Technology, which basically senses temperature, and according to that, it adjusts its cooking, like simmering heat for gravies and high heat for those tadkas that we all love. The device also brings 33 cooking functions in one place while maintaining its consistency in cooking.
The appliance also comes with a 6L capacity, which is good enough for a nice meal for a family of 4 to 6 people. It also comes with accessories such as a cooking pot, an air-frying rack, an idli-making stencil and a steaming basket, all of which are visible through the tempered glass lid.
Now let's get to its performance.
How Does It Work?
Utility
While the OneChef comes with 33 in 1 cooking styles, one thing that makes your cooking easier is the vigilance you can keep over it, with the transparent lid over it giving you a full view of the things that are there inside and if they're going according to your needs. As far as utility is concerned, it comes with a lot of functions and presets on its front panel, and it is great for times when you are in a hurry, and if you are not very well versed with cooking, you can just skip everything else and tap a button and let OneChef take care of the rest.
Daily Usage
During the time we spent with the OneChef, what stood out the most was just how much it can do without making the experience feel complicated. Whether it was steaming, air-frying, preparing curries or trying dishes that would normally need separate cookware, the appliance handled everything without much fuss. Instead of constantly switching between appliances, you can largely rely on the OneChef to take care of most cooking requirements in one place.
Another thing we liked was the preset system. For someone who cooks regularly, it saves time, and for someone who doesn't, it removes a lot of the guesswork. In many cases, all you really need to do is add the ingredients, select the appropriate mode and let the appliance do its thing. The transparent lid is also surprisingly useful because you can keep an eye on the cooking process without having to interrupt it.
Pros
The overall design feels premium and well thought out. It doesn't look out of place on a kitchen counter, and the included accessories are not just there for the sake of it. The steaming basket, air-frying rack and other attachments genuinely expand what the appliance can do. The recipe book is another useful addition, especially when you're trying out the different cooking modes for the first time.
Cons
Of course, there are a couple of things to keep in mind. The OneChef is not a small appliance, so you'll need a decent amount of counter space for it. It also requires a 16A power socket, which may not be readily available in every kitchen.
Overall
That said, if you're looking for a device that can take over the roles of multiple kitchen appliances, the OneChef makes a strong case for itself. It can comfortably handle duties that would otherwise require an induction cooktop, air fryer, steamer and more, making it a practical all-in-one solution for many households. So overall the rating of this device stands at:
8/10
