The South Korean smartphone maker is all set to deliver its flagship device for this year, and it's now just a few days away. The devices are expected to be showcased at this year's Galaxy Unpacked 2026, which is set to take place on February 25, 2026, as per the tech giant's official website. The lineup this time is expected to include the following models: the Galaxy S26 Ultra as the highest offering, the Galaxy S26+, and the base Galaxy S26. Apart from that, you can also expect the Galaxy Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro. The silicon behind one of the devices has been confirmed, and it will be a Snapdragon SoC. Leaks and rumours are spiralling all over the net, but nothing official has been confirmed as of now, and details still remain behind the curtains.

Let's take a complete round-up of all that has been leaked and confirmed about the upcoming Galaxy S26 Series smartphones, as their launch is now even less than a week away.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Launch Details And What To Expect In India
Samsung has officially locked in the date for its next big flagship reveal. The Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event will take place on February 25 in San Francisco at 10 am PT, which translates to 11:30 pm IST for viewers in India. At the event, Samsung is widely expected to introduce the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, Samsung Galaxy S26+, and Samsung Galaxy S26, alongside the new Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 and Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro.
Interestingly, dedicated microsites for the event are already live on Amazon, Flipkart, and Samsung’s official India store. While the product names aren’t directly mentioned yet, it’s fairly clear that the Galaxy S26 series will go on sale in India through these online platforms shortly after launch.
Expected Pricing in India
Samsung hasn’t revealed official India prices yet, but leaks suggest the Galaxy S26 lineup could see a price bump.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra is tipped to start at around KRW 1.8 million for the 256GB variant, going up to roughly KRW 2 million for the 512GB model. The Galaxy S26+ could sit around KRW 1.5 million for the base option and about KRW 1.66 million for the higher storage version. Meanwhile, the standard Galaxy S26 is expected to be priced at roughly KRW 1.3 million for 256GB and KRW 1.46 million for 512GB.
For perspective in the previous generation, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, Samsung Galaxy S25+, and Samsung Galaxy S25 were launched in India at Rs. 1,29,999, Rs. 99,999, and Rs. 80,999, respectively, for their 256GB variants.
In terms of colours, the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ are expected in white, sky blue, cobalt violet, and black. The Ultra model is likely to get the same palette.
Design: Familiar But Refined
If you were hoping for a radical redesign, this may not be that year. Leaked renders suggest Samsung is sticking to a clean and premium look. All three phones are expected to feature a pill-shaped camera island at the back.
The Galaxy S26 and S26+ will likely carry triple rear cameras. The Ultra, as expected, steps it up with a quad-camera system, with one sensor placed separately outside the main camera deco along with the LED flash.
Up front, you’ll probably see slim bezels and a centrally placed hole-punch cutout. The flat metal frame remains, with the power and volume buttons on the right.
One subtle but interesting change could be on the Ultra. Samsung is reportedly shifting the S Pen slot to the corner of the frame. The stylus itself might get a curved top, a thinner tip, and possibly a redesigned button.
Display: Big, Bright, And Smooth
The Galaxy S26 is tipped to feature a 6.3-inch Full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Armour 2 protection.
The S26+ could come with a larger 6.7-inch QHD+ panel, also with a 120Hz refresh rate and similar protection.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to offer a massive 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Armour 2. It may also introduce Samsung’s new Privacy Screen feature, which was recently teased by the company.
Performance And Software
All three phones are expected to run Android 16-based One UI 8.5 out of the box.
The Galaxy S26 and S26+ are said to debut Samsung’s new Exynos 2600 chipset, built on a 2nm process. These models may offer up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage.
Samsung has already confirmed that at least one model in the lineup will use a Snapdragon processor. Historically, the Ultra variant gets the Snapdragon chip, so the Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to pack a custom Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor. This model could offer up to 16GB RAM and as much as 1TB storage.
Cameras: Ultra Means Ultra
The Galaxy S26 and S26+ are expected to feature a triple camera setup:
- 50MP main sensor with OIS
- 10MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom
- 12MP ultrawide
The Galaxy S26 Ultra could raise the bar with a quad-camera system:
- 200MP primary sensor with OIS
- 50MP ultrawide with 120-degree field of view
- 50MP periscope telephoto with 5x optical zoom and OIS
- 10MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom and OIS
All three devices are expected to sport a 12MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
Battery And Charging
The Galaxy S26 Ultra is tipped to pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 60W wired fast charging.
The Galaxy S26+ could carry a 4,900mAh battery with 45W charging, while the standard Galaxy S26 might come with a 4,300mAh battery and 25W charging support.

Final Thoughts
On the surface, the Galaxy S26 line doesn’t appear to be a radical change as far as the latest leaks and confirmed information are concerned. Rather, it seems like Samsung is honing in on what they have already done well, like better cameras, improved processors, design tweaks, and perhaps improved privacy.
With microsites up in India and the launch event scheduled, we won’t have to wait long to see how much of this is true.
