Tecno's latest premium smartphone, the Camon 50 Ultra 5G, is now available to buy in India. The handset, which was unveiled in the country last week, has gone on sale via Amazon. Along with flagship-style cameras and a large battery, Tecno is also sweetening the deal with a limited period launch offer that makes the phone more affordable.

Tecno Camon 50 Ultra 5G price in India, offers
The Tecno Camon 50 Ultra 5G comes in a single 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, priced at Rs. 39,999.
However, if you're planning to buy it during the launch period, there's some good news. Tecno is offering an instant discount of Rs. 3,000, which brings the effective price down to Rs. 36,999. Buyers can also choose up to six months of No Cost EMI, making the purchase a little easier on the pocket.
The smartphone is available in Cypress Green, Misty Purple, and Nebula Titanium colour options, and is being sold exclusively on Amazon.
Tecno Camon 50 Ultra 5G specifications
The Camon 50 Ultra 5G is clearly aimed at users looking for a premium experience without crossing the Rs. 40,000 mark. It has a slim 7.6mm body and features a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 7400 Ultimate chipset, paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB of onboard storage.
One area where Tecno has gone all out is durability. The handset carries IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, meaning it is built to handle dust as well as water. It also meets the MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability standard.
Speaking of cameras, there are three cameras on the back side of the device. First of all, it has a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-700C primary sensor with OIS, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera capable of up to 3x optical zoom and finally an 8-megapixel ultra wide camera with a viewing angle of 112 degrees. Front-facing camera is a 50-megapixel autofocus one.

Backing everything is a 6,500mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging, so you won't have to reach for the charger too often.
The smartphone also supports 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, and comes with a USB Type-C port. It measures 162.37 x 76.97 x 7.75mm.
This is much closer to a flagship experience than what Tecno has traditionally offered, especially if cameras, display quality and battery life are high on your priority list.
