Vivo may have quietly shown off another device from its upcoming X300 lineup at MWC 2026 in Barcelona. While the company has been publicly highlighting the upcoming Vivo X300 Ultra during the trade show, reports suggest a second handset from the same series was also present on the exhibition floor.
Early leaks indicate that the device could be the rumoured Vivo X300 Max. The X300 Ultra itself is expected to launch in China later this month, while a wider global release could follow later in the year.

Possible Vivo X300 Max Spotted During MediaTek Presentation
The phone reportedly appeared during a presentation focused on MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 9500 chipset. Vivo did not confirm the name of the device shown, but WinFuture editor Roland Quandt suggested that the handset could be the Vivo X300 Max.
One of the images shared by Quandt shows the smartphone carrying the model number V2548A. That number is notable because it recently appeared in China’s 3C certification database, hinting that the device could already be moving through regulatory approvals ahead of launch.
Zeiss Camera Branding Seen On Rear Module
Images circulating online also show the smartphone featuring Zeiss branding on the rear camera module, continuing Vivo’s long-standing partnership with the optics brand.
The camera layout appears to include two sensors positioned on either side of the Zeiss logo, while a third lens sits above them. It is not yet clear whether the phone includes a fourth camera sensor or if the visible setup represents the complete system.
Charging Support And Hardware Expectations
The same model number listed on China’s 3C certification platform suggests that the device may support 90W wired fast charging. The phone is also expected to run on MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 processor, which is tipped to power several devices in the upcoming X300 lineup.
AI Imaging System In Development
Additional images shared on Weibo by Vivo executive Han Bo Xiao appear to show the same handset. This has further strengthened speculation that the device seen at MWC could indeed be the Vivo X300 Max.
Han Bo Xiao also mentioned that Vivo is preparing a new AI-powered imaging system designed to simplify smartphone photography. The system is said to combine MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 processor with Vivo’s in-house V3+ imaging chip and is expected to debut in upcoming devices from the company.
Possible Launch Timeline And Display Details
According to recent leaks, the Vivo X300 Max could launch in March alongside the Vivo X300 Ultra. The device is also rumoured to feature a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED display with a 1440p resolution.
Another key highlight could be battery capacity. Reports suggest that the smartphone may include a large battery of around 7,000mAh, which could make it one of the bigger batteries seen in a flagship phone this year.
