Xiaomi 17 Ultra: The Xiaomi 17 Ultra has been officially announced in China, making it the fourth offering in the flagship Xiaomi 17-series lineup. The new offering comes after the launch of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra that was announced earlier this year and offers improvements in various fields like processing power, battery life, cameras, and power efficiency in their processors. The Xiaomi 17 Ultra comes with Qualcomm’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 octa-core processor that uses a 3nm process technology.

Leica-Tuned Camera Setup
One of the most impressive upgrades is the triple rear camera system, tuned by Leica. The primary sensor is a 50MP LOFIC OMNIVISION 1050L sensor, measuring 1 inch in size and equipped with optical image stabilisation. Additionally, there’s a 50MP Samsung JN5 ultra-wide-angle camera and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens that has optical zoom capabilities that vary between 3.2x and 4.3x optical. Xiaomi 17 Ultra is priced at CNY 6,999 (approximately Rs. 90,000) for the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage option. Its 16GB RAM + 512GB storage option is priced at CNY 7,499 (approximately Rs. 96,000), and the 16GB RAM + 1TB storage option is priced at CNY 8,499 (approximately Rs. 109,000).
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition is available in 16GB+512GB and 16GB+1TB storage options, priced at CNY 7,999 (approximately Rs. 102,000) and CNY 8,999 (approximately Rs. 115,000), respectively. The device is set to go on sale in various colour variants, namely Black, White, Cold Smoky Purple, and Starry Green, with the Leica Edition available in Black and Off-White. Xiaomi is set to launch the device on its official website on 27th December in China.

When it comes to durability, the device has an impressive dust- and water-resistance rating with IP66, IP68, and IP69 certifications. Additionally, the phone comes with 3D ultrasonic fingerprint security.
