Tagging an Indian user with the handle '@trendulkar', Trump wrote, “If you plan to vote ABSENTEE IN NORTH CAROLINA, you need to request your ballot TODAY.”

Soon after, the Indian user replied to Trump, saying, 'Bhai, main Goregaon mein rehta hoon' (Brother, I live in Goregaon).

This interaction sparked a wave of amusing comments on Trump’s tweet, and soon, Indians flooded the thread with hilarious replies.

An Indian X user replied to Trump, asking, 'Bhai, kya phook ke tag kiya hai?' (Brother, what were you smoking when you tagged?).

Another X user joked, 'What the heck, he thought it was @sachin_rt but tagged some random person. Can’t stop laughing—this is hilarious!' They also compared Trump to an 'American version of Rahul Gandhi.'

However, Trump did not provide any clarification on whom he intended to tag or whether it was a mistake or intentional.
