Tom Holland is gearing up for his much-awaited film Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Amidst this, he has been surrounded by rumours of joining the James Bond franchise. Reports claim that Holland is being considered for the role of the next 007 in Amazon MGM Studios' next James Bond film, which will be directed by Dune fame Denis Villeneuve. Reacting to such rumours, Tom Holland admitted that playing the James Bond role would be the “pinnacle" of his career and a dream come true.
Tom Holland Reacts To James Bond Rumours
Speaking with Chef Gordon Ramsay on his YouTube channel, the Spider-Man star said, “Listen, there’s speculation at the moment. We’ll keep it to a minimum for now. We’ll get there one day."
Sharing that he would love the opportunity to play James Bond, the actor added, "I mean every young British actor, it’s the pinnacle of working in our industry. I already consider myself to be the luckiest kid alive. I could not have dreamed to have the career that I have.”
Besides Holland, several actors, including Jacob Elordi and Harris Dickinson, have been rumoured to be frontrunners for the part.

Denis Villeneuve is directing the next Bond movie for Amazon MGM with a script penned by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight. The film will be produced by Amy Pascal and David Heyman. Villeneuve will be joined by his wife, Tanya Lapointe, in this project, who will serve as an executive producer along with producers Pascal and Heyman. The upcoming James Bond, marks the 28th film in the 60-year-old beloved franchise. Fans are eagerly waiting to know who will be the next James Bond.
Meanwhile, Holland has an exciting film lineup for 2026. He will be seen in Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey, slated for release in theatres on July 17, 2026. It will be followed by Spider-Man: Brand New Day on July 31, 2026.
