A speeding Lamborghini Revuelto, allegedly driven by Shivam Mishra, son of Kanpur-based tobacco businessman KK Mishra, rammed into pedestrians and multiple vehicles on a VIP Road on Sunday afternoon, injuring at least six people. The accident occurred around 3.15 pm near Rev-3 Mall, when the luxury car went out of control, triggering chaos in the busy area. Police later seized the vehicle following the incident.
Eyewitnesses claimed the car was being driven at a very high speed and alleged that the driver was drunk. According to accounts, the Lamborghini first hit an auto-rickshaw, then crashed into a parked Royal Enfield motorcycle, throwing the rider nearly 10 feet into the air. The car reportedly dragged the motorcycle for some distance before slamming into an electric pole and finally coming to a halt. One injured man, Taufiq Ahmed, told NDTV he was standing beside his parked bike when he was struck, suffering serious leg injuries, while others sustained fractures and bruises.

Police Action and Aftermath
Police said the car has been seized by Gwaltoli police station and an investigation is underway. Eyewitnesses alleged that Mishra tried to flee the scene, while his bouncers attempted to shield him and misbehaved with bystanders, prompting an angry crowd to smash the car’s windows and pull him out. Police later arrived, rescued the driver, and shifted him and the injured to a private hospital. The Lamborghini, reportedly worth over Rs 10 crore and registered in Rohini, Delhi, suffered heavy damage and remains in police custody.
Who is Shivam Mishra?
Shivam Mishra, son of tobacco businessman KK Mishra, has drawn attention earlier as well. In 2024, he came under the spotlight after the Income Tax Department initiated a probe into Banshidhar Exports Pvt Ltd.
The multi-state operation covered premises in Kanpur, Mumbai, Delhi and Gujarat. The inquiry was launched over suspected mismatches in tax filings, with reports indicating the firm showed an annual income of Rs 20-25 crore despite an estimated turnover of Rs 100-150 crore.
According to NDTV, Mishra is known for an extravagant lifestyle in Delhi’s Vasant Vihar and owns a collection of luxury cars worth around Rs 50 crore, all bearing the number plate “4018”. During the raids, officials reportedly seized Rs 4.5 crore in cash, followed by recoveries of Rs 7 crore in cash, jewellery and other assets in subsequent searches.
