A young man’s life was saved in Nagaram, Lucknow, on Thursday after police swiftly responded to an alert generated by Meta AI. The alert was triggered when the youth, upset over a dispute with a female friend, posted an Instagram story expressing his intent to end his life by consuming poison.
According to Assistant Commissioner of Police (Mohanlalganj) Rajnish Verma, the young man, a first-year undergraduate student from Kapera Madarpur village, was located within minutes of the alert.

Acting promptly, Nagaram Station Officer (SO) Vivek Chaudhary and his team reached the spot in just seven minutes and intervened before any harm could occur.
Police officials counselled the youth and ensured the post was deleted. He later assured the officers that he would not repeat such an act.
