The Noida traffic police have implemented a traffic diversion plan to relieve residents from congestion ahead of the New Year. DCP Traffic Praveen Ranjan Singh has appealed to the public to understand the department's plan before taking their two and four-wheeled vehicles onto the roads. 

A helpline number, 9971009001, has been issued for traffic-related problems.

The traffic police's plan is as follows: 

* Traffic diversions will be in effect from 2 PM until the conclusion of events in Noida Sector-18. Drivers visiting the market must park their vehicles in the multi-level car park. To access it, drivers can take the HDFC Bank turning from Atta Peer Chowk or approach from the Radisson T-junction. 

* To exit, the turning under the Sector-18 Metro Station and both turnings near the Mosaic Hotel will remain open. Drivers will be able to proceed towards their destinations from the Sector-18 Electricity House T-junction. Vehicle entry will be restricted from these turnings 

* In Sector-18, the route will be closed from both turnings before and after the FOB near the Gurdwara, the road under the Metro Station, and both turnings near the Mosaic Hotel. 

* The route from Somdutt Tower towards the market via the China Cut from Haldiram Chowk near Toys Khazana intersection, and from the Sector-18 Electricity House T-junction towards the market will be closed. If necessary, vehicles travelling from the Sector 17-18 Nalkoop T-junction towards the Nursery T-junction will be stopped. The traffic police have designated this as a no-parking zone. 

* Vehicles must be parked only in the Sector-18 DLF Mall car park. Fines and other actions will be taken for parking in public spaces. GIP-Garden Galleria At GIP-Garden Galleria, drivers coming from Sector-37 will park their vehicles in the mall's car park.

* Logix City Centre - Drivers will park their vehicles in the mall's car park. If traffic pressure increases, diversions will be implemented from the T-junction towards the Sector 31, 25 intersection. Fines and other actions will be taken in the no-parking zone. 

* Sky One and Sterling Mall - Drivers will park their vehicles in the designated car park. If traffic pressure increases in front of the mall, diversions will be implemented from Hajipur Chowk and the Lotus Blue World T-junction. 

* Gulshan Mall, Sector-135 - Drivers must park their vehicles only in the mall's car park. E-fines and enforcement action will be taken for parking in the no-parking zone in front of the Advant Navis Business Park. 

* Advant Navis Park Sector-137 - Drivers will park their vehicles in the Advant Navis Business Park car park. E-fines or enforcement action will be taken for parking in the no-parking zone in front of it. 

* Greater Noida West-Gaur City - Drivers will park their vehicles inside the mall's car park near Kisan Chowk. Action will be taken according to regulations for parking in public
