In a significant move for the state’s youth, the Yogi Adityanath government on Wednesday announced the recruitment of 32,679 posts in the Uttar Pradesh Police. The notification was issued by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board.

The recruitment drive will offer opportunities to join various wings of the police force, including the Civil Police, PAC, Special Security Force, women’s battalion, and mounted police, as well as positions as jail warders.

The announcement comes as a major “New Year gift” for young aspirants seeking careers in law enforcement across the state.

Officials said this initiative aims to strengthen the police force while providing employment to a large number of youth across Uttar Pradesh.
