UP Tax Dept Opens Applications For Assistant Commissioner And State Tax Officer In Mobile Squad | Check Eligibility And Criteria

The Uttar Pradesh Tax Department is inviting applications for the positions of Assistant Commissioner (Mobile Squad) and State Tax Officer (Mobile Squad) on deputation. Interested officers can submit their applications to the Commissioner of State Tax by May 15.

The State Tax Department issued an order on Thursday regarding the deputation of skilled and qualified officers from other departments. According to Principal Secretary of the State Tax Department, M Devraj, qualified officers will be taken from other departments on deputation. The number of officers to be taken on deputation is being determined.

To apply for the post of Assistant Commissioner (Mobile Squad), the applicant officer's pay scale should be 15600-39100, grade pay Rs 5400, pay matrix level-10. Additionally, the applicant should have a proven record of integrity in the last five years' confidential entries, no pending departmental disciplinary inquiry or explanation, no penalties in the last ten years, and no pending investigations by the vigilance or economic offenses investigation organisation. 

For the post of State Tax Officer (Mobile Squad), the applicant officer's pay scale should be 9300-34800, grade pay Rs 4800, pay matrix level-8. Similar integrity and background check requirements apply to this position as well.
