In a significant step to enhance travel facilities for citizens, Air India Express is set to launch a special air service from Dehradun Airport. The service set to begin from Monday will operate daily from Dehradun to Bengaluru. 

Currently, only Air India and IndiGo Airlines are operating their flights to Bengaluru. With the launch of Air India Express services to Bengaluru, the burden on these airlines is set to decrease, with passengers to have the convenience of travelling via a new airline.

Nitin Kadyan, Joint General Manager of Dehradun Airport, stated that Air India Express will operate its flight to Bengaluru from Monday. The aircraft is set to arrive at Dehradun Airport from Bengaluru at 4 PM and will then depart from Dehradun Airport for Bengaluru at 4:30 PM.

These services will operate regularly, significantly increasing the passenger capacity at the airport.
