Temjen Imna Along is without a doubt, one of the most popular BJP leaders from the northeast. And unlike other big names in politics, this Nagaland minister is a known face because of his humour and relatable take on public issues. The Nagaland Minister is again making headlines for another funny reason.
With the aim to promote the breathtaking Dzuko Valley of Nagaland, the minister posted a meme on his Twitter handle. The meme instantly went viral. But, the reason for the meme going viral was something else, as the post had a 'boomer-like' mistake.
Taking to his social media handle, Nagaland minister Temjen Imna Along posted a meme with the caption, "Give me one good caption for this."
In the clip, the Dzuko Valley of Nagaland was compared with the Newlands Valley of the UK. In front of both images, the minister's cutouts with specific reactions were pasted. The intention was to show that India too has a beautiful valley like the UK. However, the 'reaction images' was pasted on the wrong sides, making the meme a wrong one with the opposite message than the original one.
As soon as a netizen noticed the mistake, they pointed it out and wrote, "Sir, I think you should flip your pics, the one with folded arms should appear against our land!" Reacting to which the minister soon accepted his confusion and replied, "oh yes I jave just noticed that, someone sent me in whatsapp."
The mistake was hilarious as such confusions are mostly connected with the older generation that is also famously referred to as the 'boomers'. The netizens took the confusion wholeheartedly and had some fun with it. One user even posted a corrected version of the meme in the comment box.

Apart from the mistake, the post itself is also going viral as people were quick to appreciate the land's beauty along with the minister's efforts to promote it through a meme.
"Ye Mera Ghar Hai.. Jo Swarg Hai," a user wrote."Incredible Nagaland," commented a second user. "This is my first bucket list place to visit in NE," said a third.
