Viral Video: It seems like an Indian wedding may miss out on serving some basic dishes like Paneer, Gulab jamun, and whatnot, but will never NOT have an intense chair fight on the poor couple’s big day. Yes, this is not us making up assumptions, but is purely based on yet another incident, where guests resorted to fighting with chairs at a UP wedding over some dispute. Such incidents have become so common that the viral video of the same did not ever surprise netizens, which was evident in their reaction. The incident took place in UP’s Farrukhabad.
The incident’s date could not be confirmed, whereas the case unfolded at a guest house in Kotwali Fatehgarh area, as per the viral post.
The video was shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘JtrahulSaini’, with the caption, “Chairs suddenly started breaking in the wedding ceremony, chaos ensued as people started fighting with each other.....!! There was a fierce fight at a wedding ceremony in Farrukhabad, UP, chairs were thrown, and the video went viral on social media...!! There was a fierce fight between the bride and groom's side due to some dispute, the case is of Bholepur Kanak Guest House of Kotwali Fatehgarh area. @Uppolice.”

The video, ever since it has been shared, has begun to do rounds on social media. Most people found the issue ‘common’ for UP weddings, while the rest found it hilarious and cracked jokes. The video was shared yesterday and pulled views in hundreds.
Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “If this situation continues, in the future we will not even be provided chairs to sit on,” a user said. “This has become way too common for UP weddings. For some reason or another, both sides start fighting, and the first thing that they attack with is often chairs. For some weird reason for sure. And jokes apart, this is low-key very dangerous,” added a second person.
“In domestic discord, only quarrels are seen, is there any quarrel in this script? Because if I am to take a guess, it must be over petty issues like food. Or it can also be because of dowry issues. In both cases, this is simply upsetting. Why do people behave this way?” added another.
“Paneer tight tha, chhole sahi se pakke nai the, mithai thodi jyada meethi thi ya phr roti nahi mili hogi. Isse bada reason nai mil skta he (Paneer was tight, Chole were undercooked, sweet dish was too sweet- they can’t fight for an issue more serious than this),” commented a fourth user.
