US President Donald Trump on Thursday warned Iran to make a deal with Washington 'before it’s too late' amid the escalating conflict in the Middle East. Trump shared a video on the social media platform showing a US-Israeli attack on the BI Bridge in Iran's Karaj area.

In a post on Truth Social, the US President wrote, "The biggest bridge in Iran comes tumbling down, never to be used again — Much more to follow! IT IS TIME FOR IRAN TO MAKE A DEAL BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE, AND THERE IS NOTHING LEFT OF WHAT STILL COULD BECOME A GREAT COUNTRY!"

On Thursday, the US and Israeli strikes struck multiple targets in the Azimeh area near Karaj, including the B1 Bridge, according to Fars News Agency.

The B1 Bridge, often described as the highest bridge in the Middle East, was part of a major road infrastructure project and was expected to be inaugurated soon.

US President Donald Trump on Thursday warned Iran to make a deal "before it is too late", after it struck B1 bridge.

"It is time for Iran to make a deal before it is too late, and there is nothing left of what still could become a great country," the US President said.

The Centre on Thursday clarified that there have been 'no such discussions with Iran' on imposing tolls on Indian-flagged or Indian-operated vessels passing through the Strait of Hormuz.

A day after threatening US-based tech firms in the middle east region, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) on Thursday said that it has launched an attack on Amazon's cloud computing centre, situated in Bahrain. The fresh attack came a day after an Iranian strike hit the headquarters of Bahrain Telecommunications Company (Batelco) in Hamala.

Iran is reportedly preparing a protocol in alliance with Oman to monitor and regulate the traffic passing through the Strait of Hormuz, a foreign ministry official said, as reported by Reuters. The development came as around 40 countries are deliberating on the diplo0matic ways to reopen the crucial shipping route, which has been blocked by Iran since the start of the war in middle east on February 28.

The United Kingdom on Thursday accused Iran of holding the world's economy hostage as diplomats from over 40 countries convened to discuss reopening the Strait of Hormuz, a crucial shipping route blocked due to the ongoing conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran, AP News reported.

The US did not attend the virtual meeting after President Donald Trump made clear that he thinks securing the waterway is not America's job.

As the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz has disrupted global energy supplies, Iran on Thursday assured India that all ships heading towards the country will be given safe passage. Calling India its "friend", Iran said that all India-bound ships, along with their sailors and crews, are safe and will be granted safe passage through the key waterway.

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday called for intensified political and diplomatic efforts to end the West Asia war during a phone call with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman.

"Both sides emphasised the need for a rapid cessation of hostilities and the intensification of political and diplomatic efforts to achieve a long-term settlement of the conflict," the Kremlin said.

Iran's parliament speaker, Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, on Thursday said that millions of Iranians are ready to fight any US ground invasion of the Islamic Republic.

"Right now, in less than a week, a powerful national campaign sweeping the country has brought forward around 7 million Iranians who have already stepped up and declared they're ready to pick up arms and stand in defence of our nation," he wrote on X.

The Ministry of External Affairs on Thursday said that the UK has invited India to attend the 35-country meeting on reopening the Strait of Hormuz. India's Foreign Secretary will attend the meeting.

Amid the escalating conflict in the Middle East, Indian Navy chief Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi on Thursday warned that disruptions caused by the war, especially the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, have caused significant economic and energy-related challenges.

"Strait of Hormuz disruptions have caused severe economic impact, energy instability in the region," news agency PTI quoted Tripathi as saying.

US President Donald Trump, earlier in the day, threatened to bomb Iran "back to the Stone Ages".

"Iran's New Regime President, much less Radicalised and far more intelligent than his predecessors, has just asked the United States of America for a CEASEFIRE! We will consider when the Hormuz Strait is open, free, and clear. Until then, we are blasting Iran into oblivion or, as they say, back to the Stone Ages," he wrote on X.

IRGC Aerospace Force Commander Majid Moosavi on Thursday strongly condemned US threats to bomb the Islamic Republic 'back to the Stone Age,' warning US leaders that they are only digging graves for their own troops.

"It is you who are taking your soldiers to their graves, not Iran, whom you seek to drag back to the Stone Age. Hollywood delusions have so poisoned your minds that, with your paltry 250-year history, you threaten a civilisation over 6,000 years old," Moosavi wrote on X.

Araghchi said that the waters of the Strait of Hormuz are shared by Oman and Iran, and the two nations will decide about its future. 

Araghchi, however, confirmed receiving direct messages from Trump's top diplomat Steve Witkoff, but denied truce talks. "I receive messages from Witkoff directly, as before, and this does not mean that we are in negotiations," Araghchi said as quoted by Al Jazeera.

"There is no truth to the claim of negotiations with any party in Iran. All messages are conveyed through the Foreign Ministry or received by it, and there are communications between security agencies," the Iranian foreign minister added.

Minutes after the US President claimed that the Iranian President had asked him for a ceasefire, Al Jazeera, quoting Iranian officials, reported that there have been no talks between Tehran and Washington regarding a ceasefire in the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

The Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) on Wednesday claimed that the southern commander of Hezbollah has been eliminated in a strike launched by the Israeli Navy in Beirut. The Hezbollah commander has been identified as Hajj Yusuf Ismail Hashim, who reportedly has been a part of Hezbollah for the past 40 years.

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced on Wednesday that the UK will host an international diplomatic conference this week focused on reopening the Strait of Hormuz. The summit has gathered support from 35 countries, all of which have signed a statement committing to restore maritime security. 

Iranian police in the southern province of Lorestan say they shot down a US‑made “LUCAS” drone over the city of Khorramabad, Iranian media reported, citing Al Jazeera.

An airstrike in Tehran, Iran’s capital, appears to have struck the compound of the former United States Embassy, according to reports from the Associated Press (AP).

The site has been controlled by IRGC since 1979.

The chief executive of the United Arab Emirates’ state oil firm, Sultan al‑Jaber, has condemned Tehran’s moves in the Strait of Hormuz, saying they go far beyond a regional dispute and amount to “global economic extortion” that the world cannot tolerate. 

Sergei Naryshkin, head of Russia's SVR foreign intelligence service, said on Wednesday that the SVR is in contact with the US Central Intelligence Agency regarding the ongoing situation in Iran.

The White House announced on Wednesday that the United States is holding “serious discussions” with Iran’s new leadership and expressed confidence that a deal could be reached soon.

A senior administration official told IANS that, “As President Trump stated, the United States is in serious discussions with the new leaders in Iran and great progress has been made.

The US is progressing faster than expected in achieving its goals in Iran, Secretary of State Marco Rubio said in an interview with Fox News.

He described ongoing military operations as being carried out with “extraordinary efficiency” and stated, “We’re well on our way and ahead of schedule on each of our objectives. We can see the finish line.”

A tanker off the coast of Qatar was struck by two projectiles, the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported on Wednesday.

One of the projectiles caused a fire that has since been extinguished, while the other remained unexploded in the vessel’s engine room. 

A Bangladeshi national was killed in the Al Rifaa area of Fujairah, UAE, after shrapnel from a drone interception fell on a farm, according to the official WAM news agency.

The IDF said said that a surface-to-air missile brought down an Israeli military drone during an operational mission in southern Lebanon overnight on Tuesday.

The Israeli military on Wednesday stated that it detected missiles launched from Iran toward its territory, prompting its air defence systems to respond.

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has effectively taken control of the government as tensions rise between hardline military leaders and civilian authorities, Iran International reported on Wednesday.

"The IRGC has blocked presidential appointments and decisions while establishing a security perimeter around the core of power, sidelining the civilian government from executive authority," the report stated.

The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) on Wednesday provided details of its ongoing military operations against Iran and its regional allies.

According to the IDF, more than 4,000 targets have been struck, including over 10,000 terror components, as part of a coordinated offensive with the United States Central Command (CENTCOM).

The Israeli military on Wednesday stated that it detected a missile launched from Yemen toward Israel, and its defense systems are working to intercept it.

Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy on Tuesday carried out four operations against the US and Israeli targets in the early hours as a part of its 88th wave of Operation True Promise 4, Press TV reported

Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, has reaffirmed Tehran’s backing for resistance movements against the United States and Israel.

In a message to Hezbollah’s Secretary-General, Sheikh Naim Qassem, Khamenei pledged continued support, according to Iranian state media Press TV, amid ongoing tensions in the West Asia region.

The US Central Command (CENTCOM) said its forces carried out attacks on underground military targets deep inside Iran.

The Israeli military said it carried out two separate strikes in Beirut targeting a senior Hezbollah commander and another senior fighter, Reuters reported.

At least seven people were killed and 24 wounded in two Israeli strikes in the Beirut area, according to the Lebanese Health Ministry.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised the joint Israel-US campaign, calling it “systematically crushing” Iran and its government. He said the operation has eliminated key threats to Israel, highlighting what he described as the conflict’s “enormous accomplishments.”

The UAE has banned Iranians from entering or transiting the country as the war continues, according to announcements by Emirates, Etihad, and FlyDubai.

An Iranian drone targeted fuel tanks at Kuwait’s international airport, causing a large fire but no casualties, Kuwaiti state news agency KUNA reported.

Bahrain’s Interior Ministry said civil defence teams are working to control a fire at a company facility following what authorities described as an Iranian attack.

Qatar’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Majed Al-Ansari, said Iran has crossed “multiple red lines” with its continued attacks on neighbouring countries, underscoring the urgent need for de-escalation as the ongoing US-Israel conflict with Iran shows no signs of ending, according to Al Jazeera.
At a press briefing on Tuesday, Al-Ansari further stated that Iran’s actions against Qatar are having a “catastrophic impact” on bilateral relations between the two nations.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated on Tuesday that his country has the "necessary will" to bring the ongoing conflict with Israel and the United States to an end, but stressed that guarantees are needed to ensure it does not recur.

“We possess the necessary will to end this conflict, provided that essential conditions are met, especially the guarantees required to prevent repetition of the aggression,” Pezeshkian said during a phone call with the president of the European Council, according to a statement from his office, underscoring a central demand of Tehran.

Iraqi police are pursuing a vehicle in which a foreign journalist was reportedly abducted, Reuters reported.

According to police sources, four men in civilian clothes forcibly took the journalist. The search is concentrated in the eastern part of Baghdad, where the kidnappers’ vehicle was believed to be heading.

Two Israeli airstrikes hit the town of Shamshtar in Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley, Al Jazeera reported.

Meanwhile, Israeli military spokesperson Avichay Adraee confirmed that Israeli forces killed militants in southern Lebanon following a drone attack.

Adraee stated that the drone strike had wounded Israeli soldiers during a ground operation involving the 226th Brigade. In response, troops from the 146th Division launched a swift counterattack, targeting and neutralizing the attackers within minutes.

Air France has announced that it will continue suspending flights to and from Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport until April 19, citing ongoing security concerns and the closure of Israel’s airspace.

Air France said it is “monitoring the evolving situation in the region in real-time.” The airline added, “The resumption of our operations will remain subject to an assessment of the local situation, which is highly evolving," the Times of Israel quoted the statement.

Multiple explosions were heard in central Tehran, an AFP journalist reported.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said on Tuesday they plan to target US companies operating in the region from April 1 in retaliation for attacks on Iran, according to state media.

The IRGC reportedly listed 18 firms in its warning, including Microsoft, Google, Apple, Intel, IBM, Tesla and Boeing.

"These companies should expect the destruction of their respective units in exchange for each terror act in Iran, starting from 8 PM Tehran time on Wednesday, April 1," Reuters quoted the IRGC statement.

Iran’s foreign minister, Abbas Araghchi, has condemned Israel over strikes targeting pharmaceutical facilities in the country.

“The war criminals in Israel are now openly and unashamedly bombing pharmaceutical companies. Their intentions are clear,” Araghchi said in a post on X. “What they’ve gotten wrong is that they’re not dealing with defenceless Palestinian civilians. Our Powerful Armed Forces will severely punish aggressors,” he added.

A strike targeted a building near the airport road in Beirut, Lebanon’s Capital, on Tuesday, AFP reported. The strike came after an Israeli warning.

Italy has recently denied the US request to use the Sigonella Air Base in Sicily for operations related to the Iran war. The Italian government cited a lack of valid authorisations and legal procedures as reasons for its decision. 

“They asked for permission to land. They were already in flight, and there was not enough time to consult parliament, so it was refused,” a defence ministry source told AFP.

US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth, in a statement on Tuesday, said that the ongoing conflict would conclude only on terms defined by Washington and Donald Trump.

“The US remains committed to a conflict that ends on its terms and Trump’s terms. There are countries around the world that ought to be prepared to step up on this critical waterway as well,” he said.

Hegseth also aimed at NATO allies, accusing them of failing to support the United States when requested and instead criticising Washington for “asking questions.”

A likely strike by the United States hit the central Iranian city of Isfahan early Tuesday, sending a massive fireball into the sky, news agency AP reported.

Shrapnel from an intercepted drone attack targeting the US embassy in Iraq's Baghdad fell, injuring one person, news agency AFP reported.

The Dubai authorities on Tuesday confirmed that there was no oil spill from the Iranian attack on a Kuwaiti tanker in the Dubai port. In a post, the Media Office said, “Dubai's competent authorities have confirmed that their teams have successfully completed their handling of the incident involving the Kuwaiti oil tanker in Dubai's waters, with no oil spill occurring or any injuries recorded."

French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot on Tuesday condemned Israel over what he called "serious incidents" against the French contingent serving with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) in the Naqoura area.

Three United Nations peacekeepers from Indonesia were killed in two separate incidents in southern Lebanon after a bloody weekend in which Lebanese journalists and medics were killed in Israeli strikes, reported Reuters.

The Israeli military said on Tuesday that four of its personnel were killed and two wounded during combat in southern Lebanon.

Pakistan's Ambassador to the US, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, in an interview with Fox News said that the efforts to facilitate US-Iran peace talks are underway. However, he cautioned that the process will be complex and time-consuming.

"The process will take its own due course, and while Pakistan continues to be the facilitator, it is actually upon the conflicting parties themselves to not only create the prerequisites for negotiations and to be able to conduct them in all earnest, but they will have to take the decisions which make it successful," he said.

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf condemned the enemy's aggression, stating that it will be met with a strong response amid reports of the US. military build-ups in West Asia, including the arrival of thousands of US Marines on the USS Tripoli.
