Iran-US-Israel War LIVE: Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf on Sunday warned that those "financial entities financing the US military budget are legitimate targets".

Iran-US-Israel War LIVE: In a statement on X, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian responded to US President Donald Trump's threats, saying that US threats against Iran show "desperation."

"The illusion of erasing Iran from the map shows desperation against the will of a history-making nation," Pezeshkian said, adding, "Threats and terror only strengthen our unity. The Strait of Hormuz is open to all except those who violate our soil. We firmly confront delirious threats on the battlefield."

Iran on Sunday claimed that at least 210 children have been killed and over 1,510 injured in US-Israeli strikes across the country since February 28. Iranian Health Minister Mohammadreza Zafarqandi also said that nearly 300 medical facilities, including hospitals and emergency centres, have sustained heavy damage in the attacks.

Russian oil tanker Aqua Titan, which was initially bound for China, reached India's port on Sunday. The Cameroon-flagged tanker arrived at the New Mangalore Port around 11:30 AM, according to ship tracker Marine Traffic. The Russian vessel, which had set out for China, had suddenly changed its path in mid-march and began sailing toward India.

Iran says it will completely close the Strait of Hormuz, a major sea route, as US President Donald Trump threatens to hit its power plants. The Iran's Revolutionary Guards warned of major retaliation if its energy facilities were hit.

As US and Iran trade threats of attack on each other's energy facilities, analysts say oil prices are likely to rise further on Monday. Oil prices reached their highest in nearly four years on Friday. Brent futures for May settled up 3.26 per cent at USD 112.19 a barrel, the highest since July 2022.

Israel's move goes against the international law which prohibits militaries from attacking civilian infrastructure. As the West Asia conflict impacts crude, gas, petroleum, power and fertiliser sectors in India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reviewed the situation at a high-level meeting held in Delhi on Sunday. The prime minister reportedly met Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah, Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, EAM S Jaishankar, FM Nirmala Sitharaman, Health Minister J P Nadda, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal and Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. The meeting was meant to ensure uninterrupted supply, stable logistics and efficient distribution across the country.

Iran has issued fresh threats of "irreversible damage" to critical infrastructure and energy facilities in the Middle East. The warning came in response to US President Donald Trump's threats to Iran's power plants. Trump had earlier threatened Iranian power plants if the Strait of Hormuz is not "fully open" within 48 hours.

Iran's Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf said, in a post on X, regional infrastructure would become targets if Iran's facilities were hit. Qalibaf further said the retaliation may lead to increase in oil prices for a while.

Iran has reportedly shot down an "enemy F-15" fighter near Hormuz Island. "An invading fighter jet was targeted by the army's air defense," Fars news agency quoted the statement of the country’s Joint Air Defense Headquarters.

As the world faces oil and gas shortage, Iran has said the Strait of Hormuz is open to all except to its enemies. Iran's representative to the UN maritime agency, Ali Mousavi, reportedly told Chinese news agency Xinhua that ships which do not belong to "Iran's enemies" could cross the strait. They can coordinate security and safety arrangements with Tehran. "Diplomacy remains Iran's priority. However, a complete cessation of aggression as well as mutual trust and confidence are more important," Mousavi said.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a high-level meeting with top officials to review the availability of oil, gas and petroleum in the country, news agency IANS reports citing sources. The meeting is expected to be attended by senior ministers, who will discuss supply and distribution of fuel to people.
