A Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight saw chaotic scenes mid-air after two passengers got into a violent fistfight. The incident happened on the London-Bangladesh route, according to the Dhaka Tribune. The video of the brawl, which has since gone viral on social media, shows the confrontation turning physical, with punches thrown and one passenger’s T-shirt appearing to be torn. The duo was later separated by the cabin crew and fellow passengers.

In the viral video, the men can be seen arguing first followed by punches directed at each other. Some passengers appeared in a state of panic as the confrontation escalated.

There is no input on whether any action has been initiated against the men or if anybody was injured during the confrontation. The reason behind the incident is also not yet known.

Uddin Alim, who said he was a passenger on the Biman flight on September 16, shared his experience on his Facebook handle. He described the incident as deeply frightening as children and elderly passengers were there on the aircraft.

Some media reports stated that the incident happened on the Sylhet to London flight on September 17.

'Not Aware Of The Matter': Biman Bangladesh Airlines

According to Dhaka Tribune, Mahbubuddin Ahmed, who is Biman Bangladesh Airlines’ general manager (public relations) was initially unaware of the incident. "I am not aware of the matter yet. I am looking into it," he told Dhaka Tribune.
