US President Donald Trump has made a striking remark about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, inadvertently hinting at possible marital troubles between the couple. In an interview with the New York Post, Trump stated that he has no intention of pursuing the visa case against Prince Harry, citing Harry’s personal struggles. "I'll leave him alone. He's got enough problems with his wife. She's terrible," Trump said, without directly naming Meghan Markle.
Trump has previously been vocal about his disapproval of Meghan Markle. In an earlier appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored, he reiterated that he was never a fan of the Duchess of Sussex. He also criticised Prince Harry, stating in a 2022 interview with Morgan that Harry was "whipped like no person he had ever seen".

Prince Harry’s Visa Controversy
The visa controversy surrounding Prince Harry stems from revelations in his 2023 memoir Spare, where he admitted to past illegal drug use. This admission prompted the conservative think tank, the Heritage Foundation, to file a lawsuit against the US Department of Homeland Security, demanding the release of Harry’s immigration records. The lawsuit seeks to determine whether Harry was truthful in his visa application, as drug use can be grounds for inadmissibility under US immigration law.
Despite the legal scrutiny, Trump’s latest remarks have shifted attention away from the visa case and onto Harry and Meghan’s relationship. His blunt assessment of Meghan Markle has reignited speculation about tensions within the couple’s marriage. Trump’s comments also align with broader conservative criticism of Meghan, who has often been accused by right-wing figures of influencing Harry’s decisions, including his step back from royal duties in 2020.

Meghan and Harry’s relationship has been the subject of intense media scrutiny, particularly since their highly publicised departure from the British royal family and subsequent move to the United States. Reports of professional and personal challenges, including the recent termination of their Spotify deal and rumours of strained friendships, have fueled speculation about the couple’s stability.
