The Embassy of India in Saudi Arabia on Saturday said that Indian passengers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia experiencing travel disruptions due to airspace closures or flight cancellations can reach out to the Embassy via the helpline numbers.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Embassy of India in Saudi Arabia wrote, "Any Indian passengers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia facing travel disruptions due to airspace closures or flight cancellations, can contact the Embassy through our various 24*7 helpline numbers. Various Indian air carriers have assured that necessary measures are being undertaken to assist stranded Indian passengers. Passengers are also encouraged to follow official updates issued by the respective airlines, to keep themselves apprised of latest information."

A member of the Tehran City Council on Saturday said that Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s son-in-law and daughter-in-law were killed in the recent strikes, according to the Young Journalists Club.

Foreign Minister S Jaishankar on Saturday spoke to his counterparts in Iran and Israel. “Had a telecon with Iranian FM Seyed Abbas Araghchi this evening. Shared India’s deep concern at the recent developments in Iran and the region,” he wroteon X.

“Spoke with Israeli FM Gideon Sa’ar this afternoon. Reiterate India’s call for dialogue and diplomacy to de-escalate tensions,” another post read.

The IAEA on Saturday said it had detected no "radiological impact" from recent US and Israeli attacks on Iran, nor from retaliatory strikes in other countries across the region.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the International Atomic Energy Agency said, "The IAEA is closely monitoring developments in the Middle East, and urges restraint to avoid any nuclear safety risks to people in the region. The IAEA is in permanent contact with countries in the region, so far no evidence of any radiological impact. The Agency will keep monitoring the situation and informing."

After the United States and Israel launched coordinated strikes against Iran on Saturday, speculation about the whereabouts of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei emerged. Israeli TV reported that their assessment suggested that the supreme leader had likely been killed in the strike. However, the Iranian's issued a speedy denial. 

Representative of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, in India, Dr Abdul Majid Hakeem Ilahi, said, "The Supreme Leader is in good health and never has a fear of America or any other people... He will continue by his dignity and wisdom, and I hope that we will win this war."

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on Saturday issued an urgent safety advisory to all Indian air operators, warning them of increased risks in the Middle East and Persian Gulf airspace amid escalating tensions. The advisory comes hours after the United States and Israel launched coordinated strikes against Iran on Saturday.

Amid the continuous attacks and counterattacks between Iran, the US and Israel, a report by Reuters claimed that Iranian Defence Minister Amir Nasirzadeh and Revolutionary Guards commander Mohammed Pakpour have been killed. However, the development is yet to be confirmed by Iranian authorities.

The Ministry of External Affairs on Saturday said that India is "deeply concerned" over the evolving situation in the Middle East after Israel and the US earlier in the day launched air strikes on Iranian cities. In response, Iran launched a barrage of missiles and drones on Israeli cities and several air bases of the US in the middle east, including Qatar, Doha, and Abu Dhabi.  

Iran's Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi on Saturday alleged that the Israeli strike on Iranian primary school for girls murdered dozens. Araghchi vowed to answer the strikes.

In a post on X, he said, "The destroyed building is a primary school for girls in the south of Iran. It was bombed in broad daylight, when packed with young pupils. Dozens of innocent children have been murdered at this site alone. These crimes against the Iranian People will not go unanswered."

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova on Saturday condemned the US strikes on Iran and offered to help wherever needed. Zakharova in her statement said that Russia urged the parties to return to a path of diplomacy.

"The serial nature of the destabilizing attacks carried out by the U.S. Administration over the past few months against the international legal pillars of the world order, including non-interference in internal affairs, renunciation of the threat or use of force, and the peaceful resolution of international disputes, is particularly alarming. We demand an immediate return to the path of a political and diplomatic settlement. Russia, as before, is ready to facilitate the search for peaceful solutions based on international law, mutual respect, and a balance of interests," she said.

Four people were killed and several others wounded when an Iranian missile struck a building in the southern Syrian city of Sweida on Saturday, the state news agency SANA said. Other missile debris fell in the city of Quneitra and the Yarmouk Basin in Daraa province in southern Syria.

Iranian authorities on Saturday confirmed that at least 40 girl students have been killed after Israel launched attacks on a primary school in Minab.

The United States and Israel targeted Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian with their attacks but the results of the strikes were unclear, an Israeli official said.

Iran has launched a massive retaliatory strikes on all US Air bases across middle-east. Several explosions were heard in Iraq, UAE and Qatar. Earlier, the IRGC said that it launched a barrage of drones and missiles on Israeli cities.

Iran's paramilitary Revolutionary Guard says it has launched its 'first wave' of drones and missiles targeting Israel. According to the IDF, sirens were expected to sound in multiple areas within minutes, warning residents of the incoming threat. Israelis receiving alerts have been instructed to enter designated safe rooms and protected spaces without delay.

In a post on X, the IDF said, "A short while ago, the IDF identified missiles launched from Iran toward the territory of the State of Israel. Defensive systems are operating to intercept the threat. In the past few minutes, the Home Front Command has sent a precautionary directive directly to mobile phones in the relevant areas."

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that a joint US-Israeli attack on Iran launched on Saturday "will create the conditions for the brave Iranian people to take their destiny into their own hands."

"Israel and the United States have launched an operation to remove the existential threat posed by the terrorist regime in Iran. The operation will create conditions for the Iranian people to take destiny into their own hands. Iran must not be allowed to arm itself with nuclear weapons. The time has come for all sections of the people in Iran to remove the yoke of tyranny from (the regime) and bring a free and peace-loving Iran," Netanyahu said in a statement.

Explosions rocked northern Israel after Iran launched retaliatory strikes on Israeli cities, following a joint attack by the US and Israel on its cities. The blasts echoed just after the Israeli military said it would be using its air defence systems to bring down the Iranian fire. There was no immediate word on any damage or casualties from the ongoing attack.

India on Saturday advised its citizens residing in Israel to exercise utmost caution and remain vigilant amid the deteriorating security situation in the region, following joint airstrikes launched by Israel and the United States against Iran.

"In view of the prevailing security situation in the region, all Indian nationals in Israel are advised to exercise utmost caution and remain vigilant at all times. Indian nationals are strongly advised to strictly adhere to the safety guidelines and instructions issued by the Israeli authorities and the Home Front Command," the Indian Embassy in Israel said.

"Indian nationals are advised to avoid all non-essential and unnecessary travel within Israel until further notice. Citizens are encouraged to monitor local news, official announcements, and emergency alerts regularly. In case of any emergency, Indian nationals may contact the Embassy of India, Tel Aviv, through the 24x7 helpline. The Embassy remains closely engaged with the relevant authorities and will continue to issue updates as necessary," it added.

US President Donald Trump on Saturday confirmed US' participation in Israeli strikes on Iran. Trump repeated his nuclear allegations to justify the strikes on Iran. "Our objective is to defend American people by eliminating imminent threats from the Iranian regime," Trump said, adding, "We will ensure that iran does not obtain a nuclear weapon."

An Iranian official has confirmed that Tehran is planning a fierce retaliation to the unprecedented strikes by Israel, with the response set be "crushing".

A US official has confirmed that the United States is participating through air and sea in the attacks on Iran. The US has repotedly used its air bases in the middle east to launch air strikes in Iran. The strikes came a day after the US deployed its most advanced fighter jets, F-22 Raptors, at the Ovda Airbase in southern Israel.

Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz today announced that the IDF has launched preemptive strikes on Iran. "The State of Israel launched a pre-emptive attack against Iran to remove threats to the State of Israel," Defence Minister Israel Katz said. An Israeli defence official said the operation been planned for months in coordination with Washington, and that the launch date was decided weeks ago.
