Armani Caffe Mumbai: Reliance Brands Ltd., the global brand distribution for Reliance Industries, has officially launched the first Armani/ Caffe in India, as announced by a senior company official on Social media. This cafe is situated within Jio World Plaza, India's largest luxury mall, located in Mumbai's upscale Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC).

Armani/ Caffe makes its Indian debut 26 years after its establishment in Paris, now featuring an outlet adjacent to the Giorgio Armani boutique in Jio World Plaza. The cafe's interior, designed in soft blue and green tones with palm-print screens, offers a cozy yet luxurious atmosphere for its 52 guests.

Mumbai Armani/ Caffe Menu

The menu showcases a selection of Italian classics, including dishes inspired by designer Giorgio Armani’s personal favourites. Highlights include Carpaccio di Gamberi e Sedano Croccante, Pappa al Pomodoro e Burrata, Insalata Cesare Armani and the flavourful Maiale Con Tonnato, alongside the traditional Ciabatta Con Pomodoro Bufala. Guests can also enjoy a curated selection of 52 premium wines imported from Italy, as well as three champagnes from France.

In addition to the classic Italian offerings, the cafe features Roman-style pizzas baked on stone at 350 degrees Celsius, with options like Pizza Napoli and Pizza Medina. Pasta lovers can choose from dishes such as Spaghetti ai Tre Pomodori, Gnocchi Alla Sorrentina and Lasagna Alle Verdure.

Giorgio Armani expressed his vision for the cafe, stating, “I always wanted the Armani brand to become an expression of style as a lifestyle. Food, as one of the most important elements of everyday life, could not be missing.” The cafe’s design ethos aligns seamlessly with the brand, creating an inviting space for fashion enthusiasts and food lovers alike.

Mumbai Armani Caffe Features

The cafe’s facade displays signage in both Italian and Hindi, reflecting Armani's approach of blending global luxury with local culture. Jio World Plaza also hosts a variety of high-end dining options, including Si Nonna’s, Laduree, Cafe&Meal Muji, Gatsby’s Bar and Pret A Manger.

Additionally, according to a India Retailing report, Reliance Retail is in discussions to establish another Armani/Caffe location at Phoenix Mall of Asia in Bengaluru, with plans for a 1,000 sq. ft. space in the shopping centre.

Armani ventured into the food and beverage sector in 1998 with the opening of its Paris restaurant and has since expanded to over 20 restaurants worldwide. Reliance Retail already partners with the Italian fashion house, retailing Emporio Armani, Armani Exchange, and EA7 products in India.
