Atal Setu Toll Price: The Maharashtra government has made a significant step by stating that the Toll Tax for the Atal Setu will not be increased for another year. During a State Cabinet meeting, the BJP-led government announced that the Toll for the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Sewri-Nhava Sheva Atal Setu will remain at Rs 250 for another year.
The ruling would benefit everyday commuters in the Mumbai Metropolitan region, who will not have to pay any additional taxes for the next 12 months.
The Atal Setu, which links Navi Mumbai with Sewri in Mumbai, is the longest sea bridge in the nation. The bridge was officially opened to the public on January 12, 2024, following Prime Minister Narendra Modi's inauguration.
The Atal Setu has revolutionised the way people travel between South Mumbai and important places like Navi Mumbai, Pune, and Panvel. It has made the daily commute much more comfortable by reducing travel time by at least an hour.

The Atal Setu bridge was used by at least 50 lakh vehicles, including buses, private cars, and commercial vehicles, between January and August of last year. Particularly between South Mumbai and the quickly growing Navi Mumbai, where the new international airport is expected to be built, the bridge has completely changed connectivity throughout the area.
