Mumbai Housing Scheme 2025: While the MHADA Mumbai Diwali Lottery has now been postponed for March 2026, Mumbaikars have another opportunity for affordable housing to celebrate. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), under the Development Control and Promotion Regulations (DCPR) 2034, has announced a lottery offering 426 affordable flats to the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Lower Income Group (LIG) categories.

The BMC Housing Lottery 2025 is exclusively for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Lower Income Group (LIG) categories, offering a total of 426 housing units. The majority of these flats, 381 units, are reserved for the EWS category, while the remaining 45 units are for the LIG category, Housing.com reported.
The carpet areas of these homes range from 269 sq ft to 489 sq ft, and they are priced in the range of Rs 55 lakh and Rs 1 crore.
