In a shocking incident, three men allegedly thrashed and dragged a waiter of a local hotel for around a kilometre by a car after the latter asked them to pay the food bill in Maharashtra’s Beed.  The video of the incident went viral on social media. 

According to media reports, Sakharam Janardan Munde and his two companions dined at a local hotel, following which they asked the waiter to bring the QR code scanner for online payment, as reported by News18 Marathi

When the waiter identified as Sheikh Sahil Anusuddin, approached the trio for the payment, the latter got aggressive and started assaulting him. They also dragged him alongside their vehicle and physically assaulted him. 

The victim was robbed of Rs 11,500 from his pocket before being blindfolded, beaten, and taken to an undisclosed location. He was eventually released the next morning in Dharur Taluka. 

Following the waiter's complaint, a case has been filed against the primary suspect, Munde, and two unidentified individuals. The police officials are investigating the matter and working to apprehend the suspects involved.
