Maharashtra News: A video of the BJP MLA, Ram Kadam, getting a haircut is going viral on social media because his legislative constituency finally got rid of the water crisis.

The move came following the solution of a long-standing water problem in his constituency, Ghatkopar West. Ram Kadam took a vow four years earlier that he would not get his hair cut until he finds a permanent solution to the water scarcity in the area.

The MLA got his haircut after water-related key infrastructure began in the area, completing his vow. According to the BJP MLA, the project involves building overhead water tanks with a combined capacity of more than two crore litres, along with laying a dedicated pipeline from Bhandup. The launch of this work marks a significant milestone in resolving the long-standing water shortage in the constituency.

Speaking to ANI, Ram Kadam said, "Five years back, I started thinking about how water can reach the mountain areas. I am happy that water tanks that can accommodate over two crore litres of water are going to be constructed here. The waterline from Bhandup has also been connected here."

He added that the water-connection model implemented in Ghatkopar can in positively replicated in other areas.

Ram Kadam Reacts To Manikrao Kokate's Resignation

Reacting to the resignation of Manikrao Kokate following his conviction in the house quota cheating case, saying "We all have to respect the decision made by the court, and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar have decided to respect the judiciary's decision. If there is a decision by the court like this for any minister, then he has given his resignation on his own based on ethics.”
