Pune-Sambhajinagar Expressway Update: The Maharashtra State Infrastructure Development Corporation (MSIDC) has advanced work on the new Pune-Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Expressway, which is expected to make travel smoother and faster between the two cities. Currently, it takes around 8 to 10 hours to drive from Pune to Sambhajinagar, but once the expressway is operational, the journey is expected to take only about three hours.

Three Phases Of Pune-Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Expressway

- Phase 1: The initial stage involves the construction of a flyover between Pune and Shirur. The flyover, which is already under construction, is expected to reduce heavy traffic congestion on the Pune-Ahmednagar Highway.
