Amazon Now Delivery: Amazon has rolled out its ultra-fast delivery service, Amazon Now, to select pincodes in Mumbai, marking a major step in its bid to dominate the quick-commerce space. After witnessing strong momentum in Bengaluru and Delhi, the e-commerce giant is now bringing its 10-minute delivery promise to India’s financial capital.

"Amazon on Thursday said it has expanded its 10-minute delivery service, Amazon Now, to select parts of Mumbai, following successful rollouts in Bengaluru and Delhi," PTI reported.

This service covers a wide range of daily essentials from groceries and personal care items to pet supplies, baby products, and even small appliances and electronics accessories aiming to be a one-stop destination for household needs.

To support this hyperlocal delivery model, Amazon has already established over 100 micro-fulfillment centers across Bengaluru, Delhi, and now Mumbai. These smaller, strategically located facilities help ensure that products can reach customers doorsteps in record time.

"We launched Amazon Now in Bengaluru earlier this year, delivering essentials in just 10 minutes. The response has exceeded our most optimistic expectations, with daily orders growing at 25 per cent month over month... Driven by this success, we've expanded to over 100 micro-fulfilment centres and plan to add hundreds more across Bengaluru, Delhi and Mumbai," said Samir Kumar, VP and Country Manager, Amazon India.

Amazon Now, currently operational in select pincodes, will continue expanding and plans to launch in other cities in the coming months, the company said.
