Mumbai Police issued a traffic advisory for commuters as the construction of the bridge connecting the Worli-Bandra Sea Link to the north has been completed. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis is set to inaugurate the bridge on Sunday, January 26.
Alongside the bridge, three inter-lanes under the Coastal Road Project will also be inaugurated. These lanes will enhance connectivity for passengers travelling from areas such as Worli, Prabhadevi, Lower Parel, and Lotus Junction.
The Coastal Road is set to open to the public on January 27, following an inauguration ceremony on January 25. The Mumbai Police have issued a route advisory effective from January 27, outlining specific traffic regulations for the Coastal Road, which will remain operational daily from 7:00 AM to midnight.
Northbound Traffic: Vehicles heading to Bandra Toll Plaza via the Coastal Road will take the route through Marine Drive (Princess Street Bridge), Vatsalabai Desai Junction (Haji Ali Junction), Lala Lajpatrai College, and Bindumadhav Thackeray Junction. The north channel to Worli Koliwada and Prabhadevi will be open from 7:00 AM to midnight but closed from 12:01 AM to 7:00 AM.
Southbound Traffic: Traffic from Bandra Toll Plaza to Marine Drive will remain open from 7:00 AM to midnight, following the Coastal Road Connector Bridge and Vatsalabai Desai Chowk.

Certain routes, such as the north channel from Bindumadhav Thackeray Junction to Bandra Toll Plaza via the C Link Gate, will be closed from 7:00 AM to midnight. Speed limits are set at 80 kmph on the Coastal Road Connector Bridge, 40 kmph at turning points, and 30 kmph on bridge descents.
The traffic regulations will be effective from January 27 at 7:00 AM and remain in place until further notice. Four-wheelers and passenger buses are permitted, with adjustments at the discretion of the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic).
