In another unrelated incident, in September, a 19-year-old college student fell from the 29th floor of a high-rise building in Amanora township, Hadapsar. The incident occurred early on September 26. The victim, a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) student from Raigad district, was visiting friends when she fell from the apartment in Gold Towers around 2:30 AM.

At the time of the fall, three male friends were present in the apartment, including two engineers and a surgeon. Despite a immediate response from the Hadapsar police, who rushed her to Sassoon Hospital, she was pronounced dead upon arrival.
