Traffic Advisory On Amit Shah Pune Visit: Ahead of Union Home Minister Amit Shah's visit to Pune on Friday, the traffic police have announced vehicle restrictions and temporary traffic diversions across several key divisions.

The Deputy Commission of Police (Traffic), Himmat Jadhav, issued an official notification detailing the traffic advisory.

The notification will come into effect in Bundgarden, Kalepadal Komdhwa and Bharati Vidyapeeth traffic divisions.

In Bundgarden, the traffic police have temporarily converted the Mor Odha to Circuit House Chowk stretch to a two-way road due to VIP movement-prompted requirements. The road generally operates as a one-way route.

In a separate order for Kalepadal, Kondhwa and Bharati Vidyapeeth traffic divisions, the Pune traffic police has banned the entry of heavy and slow-moving vehicles like trucks, dumpers, mixers, other goods transports and commercial vehicles at

- Katraj Chowk
- Khadi Machine Chowk

According to the traffic police directive, these restrictions will remain in place between 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Friday (Today). Accordingly, the traffic police have advised city residents to plan their travel in line with the temporary traffic plan to avoid inconvenience and delays.

DCP Jadhav said, "These changes have been made to ensure public safety, smooth traffic flow, and security arrangements during the visit."

On the intervening night of July 3-4, the Home Minister arrived in Pune for his day visit to the city. He was received by Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis at the airport.

The visit is expected to include several high-level meetings, public addresses, and organisational reviews across the state, as per a report by news agency ANI. "Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri @AmitShah ji arrived in Pune for a two-day visit to Maharashtra. At the airport, Chief Minister Shri @Dev_Fadnavis ji and senior workers welcomed him," read a post from the Office of Amit Shah on X.
