Pune Winters:  With a significant decrease in minimum temperatures over the last two days, Maharashtra is witnessing the harshness of the winter season. With a minimum temperature of 10°C today, Pune is particularly feeling the chill and is colder than Mahabaleshwar. As the city prepares for the cooler days, Pune residents are already voicing their unease.

Comorin and the surrounding Arabian Sea regions are currently experiencing cyclonic wind conditions at an elevation of 0.9 km above sea level. In the southeast Arabian Sea, close to Kerala, similar circumstances exist. The minimum and maximum temperatures have decreased by 1-2°C in most of the country's northern regions due to these systems.

Ridge had the lowest recorded temperature in the nation over the past 24 hours (8.1°C), while Pune had the lowest in the state (12.2°C).

As wind patterns change, retired meteorologist Dr Anupam Kashyapi forecasts a slow increase in Maharashtra's minimum temperatures beginning on November 23. Furthermore, beginning in the afternoon or evening of November 28, a low-pressure system that is building over the Southeast Bay of Bengal is predicted to bring mild rainfall to Pune and other areas of Maharashtra. These rains may affect South and Central Maharashtra for three to four days.

Pune Weather During Next Few Days

Temperatures are expected to continue to drop in the near future before gradually increasing after November 23. Due to the low-pressure system, Pune and the surrounding areas should see light rain starting November 28.

Residents are urged to prepare for chilly mornings and perhaps rain in the days ahead due to these occurrences.
