Thane Traffic Advisory: The Majiwada Flyover will be closed for 15 days due to ongoing metro construction work. The closure, which began on April 5, will continue every night until April 20, from 10 pm to 5 am. The Thane City Police issued a traffic advisory stating that the flyover will be temporarily closed to facilitate work on the upcoming Majiwada Metro Station. During this time, support columns for the station will be erected. Following this, jack beams will be installed, and rafters will be positioned to support the roof structure.

The construction falls under the Kapurwadi Traffic Subdivision and is part of the broader metro development project aimed at improving connectivity in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
