Lord Krishna Quotes: At some point or the other, we often question ourselves and start developing self-doubts. We visualize some mini-battles and consider the worst-case situations. The Pandava warrior Arjuna faced a similar dilemma in the ancient sacred epic known as the Mahabharata. However, his problems were far more severe. He was engaged in battle in Kurukshetra with cousins, teachers and friends.
And right before the battle started, Arjuna grew weak and helpless. The warrior prince Arjuna questioned the point of killing his family members. He questioned the value of victory if it meant that half of his people would die. At that point, his confidant and mentor Lord Krishna intervened and provided him with the knowledge that propelled him to take the right action.
The Srimad Bhagavad Gita, which is now regarded as the "way of life," was eventually constructed from the insightful 700+ verses that Lord Krishna imparted to Arjuna while he was struggling on the battlefield of Kurukshetra. Following are some teachings given by Lord Krishna to Arjuna which will help individuals to succeed in life.
5 Teachings By Lord Krishna To Arjuna In The Bhagavad Gita
1. Do Not Surrender To Stress
Sri Bhagavan Krishna Said:
“The one by whom others are not agitated and who is not agitated by others, who is free from joy, envy, fear, and anxiety, is also dear to Me.” (Bhagavad Gita Text - 12.15)
This text simply means that one should get rid of excessive worries, not take on more than one can handle, and schedule enough "me" time each day to help themselves unwind. In this way, one can lead a better life and connect with the almighty.
2. Always Think Calmly
Sri Bhagavan Krishna Said:
Undoubtedly, O Arjuna, the mind is restless and difficult to restrain, but it is subdued by any constant vigorous spiritual practice — such as meditation — with perseverance, and detachment, O Arjuna. (Bhagavad Gita Text - 6.35)
Developing a clear, calm, and collected mind is the first step to realizing what is going on in any situation. This requires a lot of effort. One method is through meditation, while another involves mentally removing yourself from the circumstance so that you may observe it from beyond.
3. Treat Everyone On An Equal Scale
Sri Bhagavan Krishna Said:
A person is considered superior when he is impartial towards companions, friends, enemies, neutrals, arbiters, haters, relatives, saints, and sinners. (Bhagavad Gita Text - 6.09)
Our lives are comprised of other people, and it can be challenging to avoid being affected by them or by our interactions with them. However, it is just what Lord Krishna advises: Examine everyone objectively.
4. Be Ready To Accept Changes Anytime
Sri Bhagavan Krishna Said:
Arjuna, when inertia is predominant; ignorance, inactivity, carelessness, and delusion arise. (Bhagavad Gita Text - 14.13)
Your actions will gain momentum if you introduce a little variety and enthusiasm. Therefore, jolt yourself consciously, change your trajectory, and present yourself with a fresh challenge whenever you feel yourself drifting into lethargy or a condition of stagnation.

5. Do Everything With Utmost Conviction
Sri Bhagavan Krishna Said:
Whatever is done without faith — whether it is sacrifice, charity, austerity, or any other act — is useless. It has no value here or hereafter, O Arjuna. (Bhagavad Gita Text - 17.28)
Anything you set out to accomplish is an action, but having the faith to do it is a commitment. Consider how deeply you believe something before acting on it. It is a demonstration of conviction and the appropriate choice for you if you don't need to justify it in any way or use any additional resources for it.
