Akshaya Tritiya 2025 is an auspicious festival which is celebrated by Hindus and Jains. This day marks the third day of the bright half of Vaisakha. Akshaya Tritiya is believed to be the most ideal time for launching new ventures, weddings, charity and gold or property investments. The term Akshaya Tritiya emphasises the guarantee of unending growth and prosperity, where "Akshaya" means "never decreasing" and "Tritiya" refers to the third lunar phase. The devotees pass the day with rituals of worshipping and piety to persevere and usher in prosperity, bliss and happiness. Akshaya Tritiya will be observed on 30th April 2025.
Akshaya Tritiya is additionally believed to be a sacred day associated with Goddess Lakshmi, who blesses the eternity of wealth and household happiness to those who donate selflessly for the benefit of the needy. In Sanatan Dharma, making donations is regarded as a virtue of great importance.

Akshaya Tritiya 2025: 4 Things You Must NOT Donate On This Day Even By Mistake
1. Chipped Or Cracked Items: It is considered inauspicious to donate broken or chipped objects, particularly on Akshaya Tritiya. This act is believed to bring negative energies and lead to severe losses instead of growth or prosperity.
2. Milk: As per Vastu, donating milk on Akshaya Tritiya is believed to have a negative impact as it is believed to drive Goddess Lakshmi away from home and lead to a shortage of prosperity and wealth from one's household.
3. Money After Evening: As per Vastu, it is recommended that financial dealings on Akshaya Tritiya after sunset be avoided since this would cause financial losses and financial instability in one's life.
4. Sharp Or Pointed Objects: As per Vastu, donating sharp or pointed objects on Akshaya Tritiya is believed to plant seeds of discord in family relationships, which may result in conflicts and tension between loved ones, instead of fostering harmony and understanding.
