Ashta Siddhi: The eight divine knowledge known as Ashta Siddhi offer a person total control over everything. The sacred Hindu scriptures make reference to them. However, unless one is completely entrenched in Hindu religious knowledge, the common person could not be aware of the siddhis. People are most likely to learn about Ashta Siddhi when listening to the Hanuman Chalisa. According to the Hanuman Chalisa, Lord Hanuman not only possesses Ashta Siddhi but also has the power to grant his followers Ashta Siddhis as you might have heard this line in the Hanuman Chalisa - “Ashta Siddhi Nav Nidhi Ke Daata”. According to Hindu scriptures, those who have total control over their siddhis can possess the divine powers of the demigods. Each siddhi regulates a certain quality or feature of nature, and mastering them all results in a special skill that sets them apart from other siddhis. Let us check out the names of the Ashta Siddhis of Lord Hanuman which are so divine and powerful.
Ashta Siddhi: The Eight Powers Of Lord Hanuman
1. Anima - The first of the Ashta Siddhis is Anima. When this siddhi is mastered, one can reduce the size of their body. This siddhi only grants the ability to decrease the body and the person who owns it can do so even at the atomic scale, but he or she cannot make the body larger. Lord Hanuman's application of this siddhi while spying throughout Lanka in quest of Mother Sita was its most renowned deployment.
2. Mahima - This Siddhi enables the user to take on enormous shapes. It completes Anima Siddhi or is similar to Anima. Mahima allows you to extend the size of your body up to the cosmic level, whereas Anima allows you to reduce your body. To bring back Sanjivani Booti and hoist Sumeru Parvat to save Laxman's life, Lord Hanuman employed Mahima Siddhi. The Lord Vishnu's Vamana Incarnation employed Mahima Siddhi once again. In three steps, the lord covered the entire universe after expanding to a celestial size.
3. Garima - Practitioners of Garima Siddhi can change their body weight. However, this Siddhi only permits the user to raise weight. It does not permit weight reduction, similar to the relationship between Anima and Mahima. By employing this siddhi, a person can exponentially raise their weight to the point that they are immovable. Practitioners of Garima Siddhi can change their body weight. The warriors in Ravana's court were challenged by Angad to move his feet when he entered, but they were all unsuccessful since Angad had employed the Garima Siddhi. Another time, Lord Hanuman advised Pandava Bheem to lift his tail in order to curb his arrogance while posing as an elderly monkey. But Lord Hanuman employed Garima Siddhi to prevent Bheem from raising his tail.

4. Laghima - In contrast to the Garima Siddhi, this Siddhi enables its owner to decrease weight. The Laghima significantly reduces the user's weight, giving them the ability to fly. The person's weight may drop to the point where they are as light as a feather and capable of flying. Lord Hanuman and several other demigods, as well as demons who had the ability to fly, were all conscious of this siddhi.
5. Prapti - The Prapti Siddhi differs significantly from earlier siddhis. This siddhi emphasises things outside of the body, as opposed to the preceding siddhis which were centred on the body. One has the power to obtain what one wants right away through the Prapti Siddhi. Practitioners of Siddhi can create anything they want out of nothing. This power is possessed by a number of gods, demons, and demigods in the early Hindu myths. The gods bestowed blessings by creating gifts out of nothing, while devils created swords out of nowhere.
6. Prakamya - The user of Prakamya Siddhi has access to a diverse set of abilities. It gives the possessor the ability to teleport, radically extend their life, and survive underwater. In a broad sense, Prakamya Siddhi empowers the user to adjust to the situation. Many rishi munis, chiranjivis, and demigods in the past who could dwell underwater and prolong their lives for extraordinarily long periods of time had this Siddhi.
7. Isitva - The person who attains this Siddhi has the power to control nature as they like. The earth will move in accordance with one's wishes when one achieves this siddhi, the sky will rain when one requests it, and the wind will move according to one's sign. Any natural event will conform to human desires. Different people possessed the ability to suddenly cause rain to fall, and trees to grow, among many other things.

8. Vasitva - The final Ashta Siddhi, Vasitva, enables mind control over others. The power extends not only to human minds but also to animal minds. This power can calm wild animals and mentally ill people. Using this Siddhi, Lord Vishnu in his various forms could instantly placate furious creatures and people.
