Diwali 2023: The day of Dhanatrayodashi marks the beginning of the 5-day Deepotsav festivities. Starting with Dhanteras, people commemorate Narak/Roop Chaturdashi, Diwali, Goverdhan Puja and Bhai Dooj. There is a great significance associated with performing puja on this day. Acharya Girish Vyas shared the auspicious Puja Muhurat for Narak/Roop Chaturdashi, Deepawali worship, Govardhan and Bhai Dooj.
Diwali 2023: Roop/Narak Chaturdashi Shubh Muhurat
Chaturdashi Tithi is starting on 11 November 2023 at 01:58 PM. Taking Abhyanga bath on this day has special significance. Abhyanga Tel Ubtan bath will be performed in the morning on 12th November.
Diwali 2023: Diwali Puja Shubh Muhurat
This year the festival of Diwali is being celebrated on Sunday, 12 November 2023.
- Morning Puja Shubh Muhurat - 08:02 AM - 12:11 PM
- Afternoon Puja Muhurat - 1:34 PM - 2:57 PM
- Evening Puja Muhurat - 5:42 PM to 10:34 PM
Time of worshipping Goddess Lakshmi in the fixed ascendant (Sthir Lagna)
- Sthir Vrishchik (Scorpio) Lagna - 7:15 AM to 9:34 AM
- Sthir Kumbha (Aquarius) Lagna - 1:21 PM to 2:50 PM
- Sthir Vrishabh (Taurus) Lagna - 5:52 PM to 7:48 PM
- Sthir Singha (Leo) Lagna - 12:23 AM to 2:50 AM
Remember that on November 13th, Somwati Amavasya will be celebrated during which sacred Dev Pitru work will be performed.

Goverdhan Puja 2023 Shubh Muhurat
This year, the auspicious Goverdhan Puja festival will be celebrated on 14th November 2023. Govardhan Annakoot festival is also celebrated on this day. The auspicious timings for Goverdhan Puja are as follows:
- Morning Puja Time - 9:26 AM to 1:34 PM
- Afternoon Puja Time - 2:56 PM to 4:19 PM
- Evening Puja Time - 7:19 PM to 8:57 PM

Bhai Dooj 2023 Shubh Muhurat
The auspicious festival celebrating the undying love between brothers and sisters known as Bhai Dooj will be celebrated on 15th November. This day is also known as Yama Dwitiya. The Shubh Muhurat timings for Bhai Dooj are as follows:
- Morning Auspicious Time - 6:41 AM to 9:26 AM, 10:49 AM to 12:11 PM
- Afternoon Auspicious Time - 2:56 PM to 5:41 PM
