Ekadashi November 2023: The eleventh day of the two lunar phases in a month, Shukla Paksha and Krishna Paksha is known as Ekadashi. In a spiritual sense, it refers to eleven senses that make up five sensory organs, five action organs, and the mind. It's regarded as one of the luckiest days to keep the fast (Vrat). Controlling the ten senses and the mind, as well as avoiding the consumption of grains, beans, and rice are the ways in which vrat is observed. According to science, a person's mental frequency is directly impacted by the moon on this day. As a result, vrat is seen to assist in focusing high mental energy in the proper direction and preventing ill conduct. Penance is carried out in order to master our senses and reach a higher state of awareness. Every one of the 24 Ekadashi that fall throughout the year has a unique meaning and is connected to a distinct incarnation of Lord Vishnu. However, there are certain food items that should not be consumed on this auspicious fast.
