Panchak October 2023: Panchak literally means "a group of five". According to Vedic astrology, Panchak is made up of five constellations, or Nakshatras, referred to as Panchak Nakshatras. Dhanishtha, Poorva Bhadrapada, Shatbhisha, Uttara Bhadrapada, and Revati Nakshatra are the five of them. When the Moon passes the Aquarius zodiac and the third phase of Dhanishta starts, Panchak Yoga begins. The moon then passes over Shatbhisha, Purva Bhadrapada, Uttara Bhadrapada, and Revati, among other Nakshatras. The moon travels through each of these Nakshatras in five days. The Panchak yog occurs after every 27 days. Panchak is an extremely unfavourable Dosha period. It is advised not to begin any significant activities or hold any auspicious ceremonies, such as weddings, mundans, Griha Pravesh, Upnayan Sanskar, housewarmings, welcoming new brides, etc., during Panchak Yog because this is not a favourable stellar combination.
