1. Oil - It is believed that Saturdays are a bad day for purchasing vegetable or mustard oil at home since it is a harbinger of illness. Several Hindu texts state that purchasing oil on Saturdays is bad for your health and increases your risk of contracting a dangerous illness. 

2. Broom - Without a doubt, the broom dispels bad energy from the house and fosters happiness there. On the other hand, it is advised against purchasing a broom on Saturdays or Tuesdays as it may lead to poverty and negatively impact your financial stability. Additionally, buying brooms on Saturdays is thought to upset Goddess Laxmi, the goddess of riches, and increase your chances of running out of money.

3. Black Shoes - Everyone needs black shoes, especially for work and social occasions, but purchasing or wearing them on Saturdays is unfavourable for you. It's also said that wearing black leather shoes can prevent you from getting promoted at work or even result in your termination. Conflicts and failures at work can result from wearing black shoes. 

4. Salt - Purchasing salt on Saturdays denotes financial loss and mounting debt. Individuals with little financial resources must not taste or bring salt home on Saturdays.
