Vinayak Chaturthi October 2023: Vinayaka Chaturthi, one of the most important Hindu events, is observed on the Chaturthi Tithi of Shukla Paksha every month according to the Hindu Calendar. According to the Hindu calendar, there are two Chaturthi Tithis every month. As a result, worshippers of Lord Ganesha uphold fasts twice a month, during the waxing and waning phases of the moon. Sankat Hara Chaturthi and Vinayaka Chaturthi are the names of the fasts observed during the waning and waxing phases, respectively. Whoever observes a fast and offers prayers to Ganesha is believed to be rewarded with wisdom and patience. Vinayak Chaturthi October 2023 Significance
Vinayak Chaturthi, which falls during Navratri, is highly revered. On this day, it is thought that the flaws associated with the planet Mercury are eliminated by worshipping Mata Kushmanda, the fourth manifestation of Ganapati and Maa Durga. Offering worship to the divine lords on this day also leads to career progress. The scriptures state that Lord Ganesha is honoured on the Krishna and Shukla Paksha Chaturthi dates because Gauri, the date's lord, is the son of Ganesha. Vinayak Chaturthi is the name of the Ashwin Shukla Paksha's Chaturthi date.
Vinayak Chaturthi October 2023 Puja Vidhi
Wake up early in the morning and take a bath. Worship lord Ganesha's idol by lighting a ghee diya and offering durva grass, modak, flowers and kumkum. Make sure to recite Lord Ganesha's mantras and aarti. In the evening, recite the Bindayak katha and perform the evening aarti. After the moonrise, offer arghya to the moon and culminate the fast.
