What Are The 4 Vedas And What Each Veda Contains?
The Vedas are divided into 4 parts, each having its own spiritual importance:
1. The Rig Veda (The Book of Mantra)
The Rig Veda is the oldest book of Sanatana Dharma. It was created before the Aranyakas and Upanishads. It has 10 Mandalas and 1028 Suktas, and at present, there are 10,462 mantras.

It is divided into two major parts: Krishna Yajurveda, which is prevalent in South India and the Shukla Yajurveda, which is prevalent in North India.

3. The Samaveda (The Book of Melody)
